Procurement Consultant

About the role

This role leads the management of sub‑consultant frameworks and the supply base, supporting category strategy and project sourcing. It ensures frameworks are performance‑led, aligned to strategy, and integrated within consistent sourcing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and refresh sub‑consultant frameworks to reflect market capacity and business needs.
• Design and operate supplier performance criteria, refresh cycles, and escalation routes.
• Introduce performance tracking and use insights to drive improvement and supply‑base optimisation.
• Support category strategy definition, providing supply‑base insight and aligning framework structure with strategy.
• Ensure frameworks integrate with standardised sourcing pathways and provide audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years' experience in procurement, category management, or supplier management.
• Experience managing frameworks or preferred supplier lists.
• Strong understanding of sourcing governance and audit requirements.
• Strong analytical capability and ability to interpret performance data.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across technical, commercial, and capacity stakeholders.

• SAP (or similar ERP platform)
• Ariba (or similar SRM platform)
