Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the company’s sourcing and supply‑chain activities, ensuring cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services without compromising quality. This role is responsible for developing strategic sourcing plans, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to maximize value.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement procurement frameworks, sourcing strategies, and contract management processes.
• Identify and develop new suppliers to diversify the supply base and reduce costs.
• Maintain a supplier price history database and conduct regular audits of supplier performance.
• Build strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to secure favorable business terms.
• Forecast price trends, demand patterns, and market changes; perform cost, scenario, and benchmarking analyses.
• Create metrics, reports, and dashboards to track procurement activities and share insights with business heads.
• Support annual budgeting, monitor cash flow, and drive waste reduction initiatives.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities, cost‑containment measures, and revenue‑generation ideas.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Statistics or a related field.
• 6‑7 years of experience in vendor management, purchasing or procurement.
• 3‑4 years of experience with contract manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
• Willingness to travel, including potential international trips.
