Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimise our procurement activities. You will ensure quality, cost efficiency and timely delivery while aligning purchases with business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that support overall supply chain objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance and negotiate commercial terms.
• Coordinate sourcing and purchasing processes for materials, equipment and services.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
• Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering, project, finance, operations and other functions to translate requirements into effective purchasing plans.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, purchasing, supplier management and contract negotiation.
• Proven ability to evaluate suppliers on quality, cost, delivery, capacity and reliability.
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Experience using ERP platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
