Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead regional commercial buying, logistics strategy, and supply chain governance for a multinational turnkey delivery and specialist technology provider. This senior position is responsible for tier‑1 supplier relations, contract negotiations, and end‑to‑end purchasing governance across fast‑paced project lifecycles.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate and formalise trade contracts, rate agreements and commercial agreements with international and regional vendors.
• Lead purchasing activities for systems integration programmes and major site installations, aligning supplier disbursements with client milestone billings.
• Advise business development and proposal teams on RFP cost models, market lead times and technical procurement pricing.
• Oversee port handling, customs processes, municipal approvals and logistics transfers to ensure timely material delivery.
• Establish performance benchmarks, manage vendor onboarding, conduct operational reviews and resolve high‑stakes disputes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO guidelines, support audit exercises and provide performance tracking reports to executives.
• Coordinate procurement execution and trade partner networks across GCC locations such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Required profile

• 5+ years of senior procurement experience in contracting, systems integration, construction or similar engineering environments.
• Proven track record supervising teams and managing large vendor portfolios.
• Direct experience with regional supply routes and commercial practices across the UAE and GCC.
• CIPS certification strongly preferred.
• Deep familiarity with modern ERP environments and high‑level Excel capability.
• Advanced commercial deal structuring, rigorous negotiation and contractual control skills.
