Procurement Officer – Cabin IFEC Supply Chain

About the role

Emirates Engineering is a world‑leading aircraft maintenance facility supporting Emirates and other airlines. The Procurement Officer will manage the sourcing, purchasing and borrowing of cabin and IFEC spares, tools, consumables and retrofit materials to ensure aircraft dispatch reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Source, purchase and borrow assigned items (BFE, retrofit, breakdown spares) in line with procurement policies and engineering procedures.
• Monitor supply‑chain KPIs such as overdue orders, backlogs and vendor performance; raise corrective actions when needed.
• Conduct price and lead‑time reviews, negotiate with vendors and ensure contract compliance.
• Clear invoice and store discrepancies, prevent backlogs and manage credit holds.
• Analyse supply‑chain data, generate reports and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare and execute RFQs, evaluate quotations, and authorise purchase orders within financial limits.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure on‑time delivery and cost optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of schooling plus at least 7 years of relevant supply‑chain or purchasing experience.
• Experience in aircraft maintenance spares procurement, preferably within an airline or MRO environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems, forecasting models and materials management principles.
• Familiarity with aircraft systems, maintenance philosophies and related quality interfaces.
