Procurement Officer – Fit-out & Joinery Projects

About the role

Royal Joinery is seeking a Procurement Officer to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for MEP, interior fit‑out and joinery projects. The role ensures timely delivery of high‑quality materials while optimizing cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and financial goals.
• Research, evaluate and select suppliers to build a reliable supply chain.
• Negotiate contracts to secure optimal pricing, terms and conditions.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from purchase order to delivery.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Track inventory levels, forecast material needs and coordinate logistics.
• Prepare procurement reports and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets and UAE procurement regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Material Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the joinery or interior fit‑out industry within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of joinery, MEP and interior fit‑out materials and market trends.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
