Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will perform, coordinate and execute ground and cargo purchasing and sourcing activities of medium complexity, ensuring compliance with established policies and delivering value for money.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate with recurrent suppliers to improve service, quality and cost efficiency.
• Prepare and manage RFP/RFQ documentation, collect quotations, analyze proposals and monitor contract terms.
• Review draft contracts with the Procurement Manager and provide executive summaries for approval.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure contractual terms are met and monitor delivery of high‑quality goods and services.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end contracting process, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with legal and other stakeholders to develop and review contracts, mitigating risk.
• Lead corporate procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing and inventory management.
• Implement and maintain transparent procurement policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of procurement or supply‑chain experience in multinational companies.
• Familiarity with ground and cargo systems and aircraft maintenance requirements.
• Strong analytical, report‑writing and data‑analysis skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Ariba, SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Good knowledge of contract management and legal compliance.
