Production Floor Working Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Production Floor Working Supervisor to lead daily operations in our new stainless steel laser cutting and bending workshop in Al Quoz, Dubai. The role combines team leadership with practical machine operation to ensure high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily production schedules to meet order deadlines.
• Supervise laser operators, press‑brake operators, helpers and delivery drivers.
• Read engineering drawings and ensure accurate nesting, cutting and bending.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface defects.
• Manage stainless‑steel inventory, including grades, thicknesses and scrap.
• Monitor machine performance, arrange maintenance and report breakdowns.
• Enforce safety procedures, PPE use and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain production, material consumption, rejection and scrap records.
• Train operators and helpers to uphold productivity and quality.
• Operate fiber laser or press‑brake machines during peak periods or staff shortages.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sheet‑metal fabrication experience, including stainless steel.
• At least 2 years supervising production teams on the workshop floor.
• Hands‑on experience with fiber laser cutting machines and press‑brake bending.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings within tight tolerances.
• Knowledge of SS304 and SS316 grades and surface finishes.
• Good spoken English; Hindi, Urdu or Arabic preferred.
• UAE workshop experience and immediate availability are advantageous.

Required skills

• Fiber laser cutting operation (nesting, assist‑gas settings, lens and nozzle care).
• Press‑brake bending and bend‑accuracy verification.
• Use of measuring tools such as vernier calipers, angle gauges and tapes.
• Experience with C‑based laser nesting software.
• Basic ERP or production‑management system usage.
• Welding and general metal‑fabrication skills.
