Steel Fabrication Technician

About the role

Technos Multiline LLC is seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Technician to join its steel and sheet‑metal workshop in Al Quoz, Dubai. The role involves hands‑on fabrication of components from various metals while ensuring high quality, safety, and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and perform measuring, marking, cutting, drilling, grinding, deburring and fitting operations.
• Operate sheet‑metal bending, welding (TIG/MIG), and assembly processes to produce finished components.
• Work with steel, stainless steel and other alloys, maintaining dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
• Coordinate with laser‑cutting and press‑brake operators, and ensure minimal material waste.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, follow safety procedures and use hand and power tools safely.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on metal or sheet‑metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements.
• Experience in a UAE workshop environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, workmanship and safety.

Required skills

• Metal cutting and sheet‑metal bending.
• Grinding, deburring and fitting.
• TIG and MIG welding.
• CNC laser cutting and press‑brake operation.
• Use of measuring instruments and hand/power tools.
