Production Manager – Luxury Villa Joinery

About the role

A Production Manager is needed for a joinery workshop producing bespoke joinery for luxury villas. The role covers planning, resource and quality control, technical oversight, cost management and health and safety compliance. The position is based in DIP2 and requires working six days a week; immediate joiner experience is preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run detailed production schedules aligned with villa project timelines, coordinating machining, assembly, finishing and installation preparation, and adjusting schedules to avoid bottlenecks.
• Supervise carpenters, machinists, finishers and support teams, allocating manpower, materials and machinery and enforcing craftsmanship standards.
• Review shop drawings, AutoCAD files and BOQs, give fabrication guidance and resolve technical challenges.
• Run quality control from raw material inspection to final finishing and final inspections before dispatch.
• Monitor production costs and material usage, oversee inventory, procurement and supplier performance.
• Enforce HSE regulations, conduct safety audits, toolbox talks and training, and ensure compliance with Civil Defense, municipality, fire-rated material and sustainability requirements.

Required profile

• 10+ years in joinery or interior fit-out manufacturing, preferably on luxury villa projects.
• Minimum 8+ years in a senior supervisory, production lead or factory management role.
• Ability to lead teams, mentor staff and coordinate with designers, project managers, procurement and site teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Production, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or related field; certifications in project management, lean manufacturing, CNC or quality management are an advantage.

Required skills

• Woodworking machinery: CNC routers, panel saws, edge-banders and finishing equipment.
• Premium materials: solid wood, MDF, veneers, laminates, natural timber finishes and high-gloss or matte systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Documentation and reporting for audits, QC and compliance.
