About the role
The Mixing Operator is responsible for overseeing the blending process in a production environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly, safely, and cost‑effectively while meeting quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain overall operation and process flow according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Control blending costs through efficient resource management.
- Perform raw material (RM) checks, hygiene and cleaning inspections of the blending area.
- Execute startup checks, CCP monitoring, and record all blending activities.
- Operate the blender for specific batch requirements and supervise change‑over cleaning.
- Allocate work to team members and verify material availability before tipping.
- Sample each lot and hand over samples to QA.
- Operate the sugar mill system and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for all personnel.
Required profile
- 2‑4 years of relevant functional experience in a reputable company.
- Technical Diploma or ITI qualification.
