Project Coordinator – Oil & Gas

About the role

The Project Coordinator will act as the central link between end‑users, third‑party contractors and the Projects Division for EPC initiatives in the oil and gas sector. You will organise resources, monitor material flow and ensure projects progress smoothly to close‑out while maintaining compliance with warranty conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Planning Engineers and Project Managers in preliminary scheduling of major projects.
• Track material deliveries, asset movements and work progress across multiple sites.
• Provide on‑site support to Project Managers, handling correspondence and coordinating with IT on system issues.
• Visit workshops and warehouses to assess repair status, spare availability and receipt of project items.
• Prepare annual budget requirements, allocate resources and coordinate with contractors for timely task completion.
• Manage third‑party work orders, service procurement and tender processes using SAP.
• Compile spare‑parts lists, code materials and organise logistics for project execution.
• Maintain inventory records at shipyards and monitor weight‑control data, reporting in graphical formats.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years working in the UAE.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary project activities and liaise with contractors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (Project System Module, work order and tender management).
