Project Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturing client. The role reports to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager and focuses on driving equipment‑related projects from concept to implementation. Based in Sharjah, the position is onsite and involves close collaboration with local production teams to enhance operational performance.
Key responsibilities
- Identify improvement opportunities, including cost‑saving measures, and lead their implementation across equipment and processes.
- Select appropriate equipment, suppliers or subcontractors to achieve the most cost‑effective solutions while meeting project specifications.
- Oversee the acquisition, installation or modification of equipment to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Develop and define comprehensive maintenance plans for newly installed or altered equipment to sustain reliability and performance.
Required profile
- Experience in project engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work closely with the Engineering and Maintenance Manager and cross‑functional teams.
