Project Engineer – Stormwater & Microtunneling (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of a major Dubai Municipality stormwater system upgrade. The role involves hands‑on supervision of site works, coordination with the Project Manager, and ensuring all technical documentation is accurate and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in day‑to‑day delivery of the stormwater upgrade project.
• Supervise site activities including stormwater pipelines, microtunneling drives, shafts and manholes.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Raise and close Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), NOC conditions and Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Maintain site records to support progress reporting, variation orders and payment applications.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Dubai.
• Approved by RTA and Dubai Municipality for NDRC (Microtunneling) works.
• Strong hands‑on experience with wet utilities, drainage and stormwater projects from the contractor side.
