Proposal Manager – Transport & Infrastructure

About the role

The Proposal Manager will work closely with technical and project leaders to position WSP and win profitable business in the transport and infrastructure sector. You will manage the end‑to‑end bid process, from capture through to conversion, ensuring high‑quality proposals that meet client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate bid teams, organising kick‑off, review and approval meetings.
• Develop win strategies, themes and storyboards aligned with WSP’s brand.
• Analyse RFP documents, prepare clarification questions and produce tailored, technically differentiated content.
• Work with technical authors to convert knowledge into high‑scoring bid material.
• Support project teams in client interview preparation, presentation development and coaching.
• Maintain market and competitor intelligence, track pursuits and ensure compliance with governance processes.
• Produce best‑practice materials such as CVs, project sheets and knowledge‑base content.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years (48 months) of experience in proposal or bid management, preferably in transport and infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and deliver complex proposals on time.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
