About the role
We are seeking a Purchasing & Store Assistant to manage food inventories, process orders, and ensure accurate record‑keeping in our Dubai location. The role supports the kitchen and service teams by maintaining optimal stock levels and adhering to food safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs while maintaining organized records.
- Post invoices using computer programs and reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports.
- Conduct inventory audits, complete requisition forms, and notify supervisors of low stock levels.
- Receive, unload, and process deliveries, refusing damaged or incorrect items and overseeing returns.
- Monitor PAR levels for all food items and ensure compliance with food safety policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience in purchasing, inventory, or store operations.
