PYP/MYP Innovation Teacher (Start Jan 2027)

About the role

GEMS World Academy – Dubai is seeking an outstanding PYP/MYP Innovation Teacher to join its IB community from January 2027. The role focuses on delivering inquiry‑based learning and fostering an inclusive, internationally minded environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry‑based lessons aligned with the IB PYP/MYP curriculum.
• Create an inclusive learning environment, differentiate instruction and use assessment data to support student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and share best practices.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and the wider school community, supporting wellbeing and co‑curricular activities.

Required profile

• Hold a Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification (PGCE, State Teaching License, etc.).
• Minimum three years’ experience teaching Primary or Middle Years Innovation, preferably within an IB framework.
• Strong understanding of the IB PYP/MYP framework and Approaches to Teaching.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and alignment with the IB Learner Profile.

• Ability to design and deliver inquiry‑based learning experiences.
• Proficiency in using assessment data to inform instruction.
