QA/QC Coordinator

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced QA/QC Coordinator to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role involves overseeing quality assurance and control across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start‑up phases for offshore and onshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001, client specifications and project requirements.
• Review and monitor EPC contractor quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements and QA/QC procedures.
• Conduct audits, inspections and surveillance during engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Manage non‑conformance reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and quality deviations.
• Coordinate vendor inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and material inspections.
• Prepare quality reports, KPIs and management reports for clients and project leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or HND with a QA/QC certificate from a recognised agency.
• 10+ years of QA/QC engineering experience, preferably in oil and gas.
• 4+ years supervising quality control activities on O&G projects.
• Right to work in the UAE.
