QA/QC Engineer - Water Infrastructure

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will ensure that all water infrastructure works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, quality standards and authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project‑specific Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements.
• Conduct inspections of materials, works and installations according to project specifications and international standards.
• Review and verify material submittals, test reports and certifications for compliance.
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and client requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, clients and third‑party laboratories for inspections and testing.
• Identify non‑conformances, issue NCRs and follow up on corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, including inspection records, test results and reports.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure closeout of findings.
• Assist Project/Quality Manager in preparing handover documentation such as QA/QC dossiers and as‑built records.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years experience as a QA/QC Engineer on water infrastructure projects in the UAE.
