QA/QC Inspector – Civil Works

About the role

The QA/QC Inspector will lead quality control inspections for civil‑works projects under execution, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. The role involves identifying non‑conformities, coordinating corrective actions, and maintaining accurate QC documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections in assigned project sections and sign off completed work.
• Identify, report, and follow up on non‑conformities, ensuring timely corrective actions.
• Prepare and review project‑specific quality plans and procedures.
• Coordinate with field inspection and construction teams to apply QC systems and plans.
• Log daily QC data on the QA/QC dashboard and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor inspection activities to meet project timelines and standards.
• Support development of welding and NDT procedures as assigned by lead engineers.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, processes, and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical or Civil preferred) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar QA/QC role within civil works.
• Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001 Auditor) is preferred.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 quality management knowledge.

• Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures.
