QA/QC Manager – CCGT Power Plant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control activities for a greenfield 2,400 MW combined‑cycle gas turbine (CCGT) project in Taweelah, Abu Dhabi. The role spans the full project lifecycle—from design and engineering through construction and commissioning—ensuring compliance with contractual, ISO and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, MSRA, ITPs, and inspection checklists in line with the PPA, EPC contract and ISO standards.
• Review and approve quality documents submitted by the EPC contractor.
• Lead a team of QA/QC engineers to monitor, inspect and verify civil, mechanical and electrical works against approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify and communicate quality issues, providing technical advice to the construction team.
• Support the Project Manager/Director with schedule control and any additional tasks related to quality management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the power sector, with at least 5 years on CCGT power plants.
• Prior experience in GCC projects is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASME, API and IEEE.
