QA/QC Manager – High‑Rise Construction

About the role

Azizi is seeking a seasoned QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control for high‑rise tower projects in the UAE. You will oversee all quality aspects from foundation through handover, ensuring compliance with client specifications, UAE codes, and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP) in line with ISO 9001 and client/consultant requirements.
• Review and approve contractor Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and material submittals.
• Lead quality audits, inspections and surveillance across all construction stages, including sub‑structure, super‑structure, façade, MEP and finishing.
• Coordinate Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track corrective/preventive actions to closure.
• Oversee material testing and ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and other relevant authority codes.
• Chair quality review meetings with contractors, consultants and client representatives.
• Maintain proper documentation, quality records and hand‑over/close‑out reports (QCP, ITP registers, test certificates).
• Review and approve concrete pour requests, rebar inspections and structural quality checkpoints.
• Liaise with third‑party testing laboratories and certification bodies.
• Mentor and manage site QA/QC engineers and inspectors, and support snagging, de‑snagging and DLP processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 15 years of overall QA/QC experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven experience working within a consultancy or supervision firm.
• Demonstrated track record on high‑rise tower construction projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards and UAE regulatory authorities (Trakhees, DM, DCD).
