QC Engineer - Mechanical

About the role

Fisher HR is recruiting a full-time Mechanical QC Engineer based in Abu Dhabi. The role covers inspection and quality verification of mechanical works, documentation, non-conformance handling and coordination with the site team and client inspectors.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical works against drawings, specifications and approved procedures, and verify materials, equipment and fabrication and installation against project requirements.
• Witness mechanical tests such as pressure, leak and alignment tests and confirm results against acceptance criteria.
• Carry out site walkdowns and punch-list checks ahead of handover.
• Review and implement inspection and test plans (ITPs), prepare inspection reports and maintain QC documentation, including material traceability and equipment calibration records.
• Compile quality dossiers and handover documentation for completed mechanical packages.
• Raise non-conformances, follow up corrective actions until closure, and track open quality issues and recurring defects for project management.
• Coordinate with the site team and client inspectors, schedule inspection requests and hold-point inspections, and support quality audits.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical quality control.
• ADNOC approval (mandatory).

Required skills

• Good knowledge of mechanical codes, standards and inspection procedures.
