QC Inspector – Construction Quality Assurance

About the role

Nova International General Contracting is seeking an experienced QC Inspector to ensure that all civil, structural, and finishing works on active project sites meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring, curing, and dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor blockwork, plastering, screed, waterproofing, backfilling, and compaction.
• Verify finishing works such as tiling, marble/granite installation, gypsum, joinery, doors, painting, and metal works.
• Coordinate material testing with third‑party labs and review results against ASTM/BS standards.
• Prepare and submit IRs/RFIs, maintain inspection logs, and ensure proper filing of QA/QC documents.
• Identify non‑conforming work, raise NCRs, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Liaise with consultants, client representatives, and site teams during inspections and coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of QA/QC experience on civil and finishing works.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and local authority requirements.
