Qualified Mathematics Teacher – Secondary School

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and fully qualified Mathematics teacher to join GEMS Cambridge International Private School in Sharjah. The successful candidate will deliver GCSE and A‑Level mathematics to high‑performing secondary students within the English National Curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for Years 10‑13.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A‑Level examinations.
• Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold school policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Qualified teaching certification (B.Ed or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching GCSE and A‑Level mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
