Quality Control Engineer – Interior Design (Residential & Villas)

About the role

The Quality Control Engineer ensures that interior design, fit‑out and installation works for residential and villa projects meet approved drawings, specifications, client requirements, UAE regulations and company standards. The role involves inspecting materials, monitoring workmanship, coordinating with design and site teams, and conducting quality audits to deliver defect‑free projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Review final, IFC and BOQ drawings, material specifications and ensure design intent is accurately translated into production and site execution.
• Inspect incoming materials, furniture, fixtures, finishes and hardware against approved submittals and mock‑ups, rejecting non‑conforming items.
• Conduct pre‑handover inspections, prepare snag lists and monitor defect closure with project managers and subcontractors.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly QC reports, maintain inspection checklists, NCRs and CARs, and support internal and external quality audits.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and site teams to resolve technical and quality‑related issues and ensure revisions are documented.

Required profile

• At least 1 month of experience in quality control for interior design or fit‑out projects.
