Quantity Surveyor – Marine & Infrastructure

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its Abu Dhabi team, focusing on major marine and infrastructure projects. You will support accurate measurement, payment certification, variations and claims while working closely with project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and verify quantities, maintain cost records and support commercial reporting.
• Review contractor payment applications and prepare interim payment certificates.
• Evaluate unit rates, manage day‑works records and assist cost‑control activities.
• Prepare, assess and administer variations, claims and change orders.
• Coordinate commercial matters with project teams and contractors, maintaining documentation for final account close‑out.
• Support negotiation and settlement of claims/variations and assist with final account preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of quantity surveying and contract administration experience on major infrastructure projects, preferably marine and roads.
• Strong knowledge of contractual/commercial processes, measurement and payment certification.
• Professional certification such as RICS is desirable.
