Receiving Clerk

About the role

Le Café LPM is a neighbourhood café in Dubai, described as a brand with French Riviera spirit and all-day dining, which is still opening in Dubai while other locations are being developed. It is looking for a Receiving Clerk to help build the brand from the ground up and grow with it as it expands.

Key responsibilities

• Receive all incoming goods, check quality and quantities, record them accurately and make sure nothing unsuitable enters storage.
• Verify each delivery against the purchase order for quantities, temperature and quality, and reject anything that does not meet the standard.
• Ensure food items are handled, stored and labelled in full compliance with Dubai Municipality standards.
• Record deliveries, invoices, credit notes and discrepancies accurately, keeping receiving logs clean and filed for purchasing and accounts.
• Move goods to the right storage areas following FIFO, keeping fridges, freezers and dry stores clean, organised and correctly labelled.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in receiving, storekeeping or supply-chain roles within hospitality or F&B.
• Strong understanding of delivery checks, food safety handling and documentation accuracy.
• Familiarity with inventory systems, Excel and supplier coordination.
• Detail-oriented and reliable with multiple daily deliveries.
• English is a must; French or another European language is an advantage.
