About the role
The Recreation Attendant will deliver warm, personalized service to guests using the pool and beach facilities at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, a 5‑star beachfront resort. You will ensure a welcoming atmosphere, maintain cleanliness, and support guests in enjoying the resort’s wellness and recreation offerings.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with guests, issue towels, chaise‑lounge covers, and assist with set‑up of lounge and cabana areas.
- Collect and remove used towels and debris from pool decks throughout the day to maintain a pristine environment.
- Promote and up‑sell wellness and recreation services to maximize revenue.
- Perform opening and closing duties, set the pool according to standards, and follow fire and life‑safety procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum of one year’s experience as a recreation attendant or in a similar guest‑service role.
- Exceptional customer‑service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of first aid, emergency response, and recreational equipment.
