Recreation Experience Expert

About the role

Serve as the primary resource for all recreation activities at the Sheraton property in Dubai. You will inform guests about facilities such as pools, beach, entertainment zones, fitness centre and children’s activities, encourage participation, and maintain a safe, fun environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information on recreation facilities and promote guest participation.
• Register, schedule, and recruit guests for activities, handling point‑of‑sale transactions.
• Monitor recreation areas, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies according to procedures.
• Assist injured guests until emergency services arrive and report incidents to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, equipment and supplies.
• Support private functions and group events within recreation spaces.
• Perform cash handling, equipment rentals, and facility bookings.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or other required local certifications).
• Ability to assist guests with disabilities and ensure safety.
• Willingness to work extended periods standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer data entry.
