Regional Facilities Manager

About the role

CBRE, a market leader in commercial real estate services and investments across Africa and the Middle East, is hiring a Regional Facilities Manager. The role oversees all operational and financial activities of the account portfolio across the Middle East, with full accountability for managing and performing the P&L. It delivers a comprehensive range of Facilities Management services, including hard and soft services, technical facilities management, engineering and maintenance, energy and sustainability, projects and lifecycle asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial activities of the account portfolio and take full responsibility for P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, profitability and cost controls.
• Ensure operational and resource planning aligns with forecasts, contractual commitments and profit targets.
• Lead the generation and delivery of cross-selling opportunities across other business lines.
• Ensure technical services meet contractual requirements, statutory regulations, industry standards, OEM requirements and FM best practices.
• Oversee MEP systems, electrical and mechanical infrastructure, HVAC, BMS, critical engineering systems, life-safety systems, utilities and other technical assets.
• Implement technical governance, engineering standards, risk management and business continuity arrangements across sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, Real Estate or a related technical discipline, or equivalent extensive operational experience.
• 15+ years of overall experience in Facilities Management, Engineering, Real Estate or a related operational environment.
• Preferred: experience leading large regional technical and operational teams across multiple countries and complex client portfolios in the banking or financial sector.
• Preferred: proven senior leadership and people-management experience in Facilities Management, Real Estate or Engineering operations, able to lead geographically dispersed, multidisciplinary teams.
