Regional Sales Manager - UAE

About the role

DTC, a Codan company, sells wireless security products, IP-centric network devices, C4I software and wireless broadcast systems. This Dubai-based position leads regional sales across the Middle East and Turkey for its product portfolio, reporting to the Vice President – MEA & APAC. It drives growth in defence, government and public safety markets by engaging directly with defence customers, end users, integrators and partners, and works closely with engineering, product management and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies across defence, government and public safety markets
• Drive revenue growth, order intake, pipeline development and forecast accuracy
• Build and maintain relationships with defence customers, prime contractors and industry partners
• Lead complex technical and commercial sales engagements from qualification through to contract execution
• Provide pipeline reporting, forecasting and market intelligence via Salesforce and internal systems
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing and product management teams
• Identify emerging opportunities, technology trends and competitive positioning
• Ensure compliance with export controls, governance frameworks and company policies

Required profile

• Essential: experience in defence, tactical communications, surveillance, wireless communications or related fields, and confidence engaging senior stakeholders in international markets
• Strong relationship management, commercial awareness and autonomy across dispersed regions
• Desirable: prior military experience and knowledge of tactical military communications, MANET technologies, surveillance systems or wireless communications
• International travel required
