Regional Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Tax Manager to join a dynamic centralised finance team in Dubai. Reporting to the CFO and Financial Controller, you will oversee tax compliance, reporting and finance activities across the corporate business and private asset portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead UAE Corporate Tax, VAT and international tax compliance for the group.
• Manage tax systems, processes, internal controls and all filings, reconciliations and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Maintain transfer pricing documentation and statutory records, ensuring audit‑ready status and adherence to a tax calendar.
• Identify tax risks, implement mitigating controls and support internal and external audits.
• Monitor changes in UAE, GCC and international tax legislation and advise management on business impact.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, operations and external advisors to embed tax considerations in business decisions.
• Support finance system implementation and optimisation to strengthen tax reporting and controls.
• Provide ad‑hoc reporting and finance support to stakeholders and oversee certain entities as required.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in tax, compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Strong technical knowledge of UAE/GCC Corporate Tax and VAT regulations.
• Experience handling tax audits, assessments and authority enquiries, preferably from a Big Four or leading tax advisory firm.
• Professional tax/accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CTA).
• Ability to work across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as Sun Systems.
