Registered Nurse – Emergency & Trauma Care

About the role

The Registered Nurse – Emergency & Trauma Care will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing in a fast-paced emergency department. You will assess, stabilize and manage patients with acute illnesses, traumatic injuries and life‑threatening conditions, ensuring compliance with DOH/DHA regulations and evidence‑based practice.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, triage and stabilize patients presenting with emergency or trauma conditions.
• Deliver evidence‑based emergency nursing care, including resuscitation and critical interventions.
• Administer medications and emergency treatments while maintaining patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the care journey.
• Follow quality, safety, infection‑prevention and emergency preparedness protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Valid DOH Registered Nurse license or eligibility.
• 3‑5 years experience in emergency, trauma or acute care nursing.
• Experience in trauma resuscitation and management of critically ill patients.
• Proven leadership or team‑lead experience.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – advantage.
