Registered Nurse - NICU

About the role

The Royal Hospital Sharjah is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The successful candidate will deliver safe, compassionate, and individualized care to critically ill newborns while upholding the NMC Nursing Vision, Mission, and Values.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality clinical care to NICU patients and support their families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and adhere to the NMC Nursing Strategy.
• Work across departments and be available for on‑call duties as required.
• Document patient care accurately using the hospital’s electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Promote a learning culture and contribute to continuous improvement in patient experience.

Required profile

• Valid license to practice as a registered nurse with the relevant health authority.
• Ability to manage personal professional re‑licensure.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work flexibly across units and on call.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platforms for clinical documentation.
