Registered Nurse Paediatrics - Outpatient Clinic

About the role

The Outpatient Department Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients attending the outpatient facility or clinic at Marina Clinic. The role covers recording patient histories, performing diagnostic tests, administering medications and developing care plans together with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of evidence-based care and adhere to Dubai Health Authority guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs on an ongoing basis.
• Provide regular, accurate updates to patients and their relatives in clear, sensitive language.
• Support patients, caregivers and families by involving them in care and giving health education.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and respect dignity, privacy, cultural and religious beliefs.
• Communicate patient condition and care information clearly to the multidisciplinary team.
• Work flexibly across the organisation to maintain safe staffing levels or meet professional development needs identified in the appraisal process.

Required profile

• Dubai Health Authority (DHA) medical license.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• At least 2 years of experience in a paediatric hospital or similar setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), for managing digital documentation and communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, patients and stakeholders.
