Registered Nurse - Pediatric

About the role

Royal Hospital Dubai Investment Park is hiring a Registered Nurse - Pediatric. The nurse works collaboratively with other team members and upholds the NMC Nursing Strategy to provide safe, outstanding care to patients and their families, in line with the organization's vision of clinical excellence and its values of safety, excellence, ethics, trust and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about health conditions, and give advice and emotional support to patients and their families
• Assess patients' needs, implement and monitor their medical plan and treatment, working with physicians and other specialists
• Perform systematic patient assessments, analyse the data, determine nursing diagnoses and create and evaluate care plans with the interprofessional team
• Record vital signs, recognize and escalate abnormalities, and prepare patients for examinations and treatment
• Administer medications, IV fluids and blood products, and monitor for side effects and reactions
• Provide wound care, assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures, and support admission, transfer and discharge
• Perform basic life support, pediatric advanced life support, advanced cardiac life support and neonatal resuscitation

Required profile

• Valid license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority, with all required qualifications and experience
• Ability to manage your own professional re-licensure
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support provider card
• Willingness to work across departments when necessary
• Clear spoken and written English; Arabic communication is desirable

• Desirable: organizational and administrative skills using the electronic medical record platform for clinical documentation
