Registration Specialist

About the role

The Registration Specialist will act as the custodian of student academic records, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and compliance across the university’s student information system. This role supports the Office of the Registrar in delivering high‑quality administrative services to students, faculty and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and validate electronic student records, perform routine data cleaning, and apply business rules to ensure audit‑ready data.
• Produce official transcripts, enrolment verification letters, graduation documents and liaise with the Ministry of Education for equivalency and attestation.
• Assist with online registration, add/drop requests, and schedule production, providing guidance to students and faculty.
• Support the design, configuration and continuous improvement of the student information system, documenting procedures and training staff.
• Provide accurate communications, advise on policies, and handle student inquiries and complaints in line with university procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; postgraduate degree preferred.
• At least five years of customer‑facing administrative experience, including two years in higher education.
• Strong written communication, organization, time‑management and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
• Student information system administration (e.g., Mangrove).
• Data entry, data cleaning, data management and data reporting.
• Project management and process optimisation.
