Relationship Manager - Elite Clients

About the role

The Relationship Manager in Dubai focuses on strengthening relationships with elite clients while overseeing operational tasks and driving growth in liabilities, FX and fees to exceed annual financial targets. The role also involves proactively spotting cross-selling opportunities and keeping close watch on anti-money laundering rules and UAE central bank compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the portfolio, increasing liabilities, FX, fees and trade transactions while meeting financial targets and growing year-on-year.
• Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities, target high-value transactional companies for onboarding, and conduct regular client visits and calls.
• Perform accurate financial assessments of clients' needs and risk tolerance, and build new relationships through networking and prospecting.
• Handle customer complaints promptly, communicate regularly with clients, and report portfolio activity to management.
• Monitor AML, compliance and regulatory risks, flag suspicious activity, support the compliance department, and review client profiles and risk ratings regularly.
• Stay up to date on banking products and industry trends, take part in training, and work flexibly across locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4 years of banking or financial services experience focused on relationship management and portfolio growth.
• Previous experience required.

• Excellent knowledge of business banking, trade products and foreign exchange rates.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in customer complaint resolution and service delivery.
