Relationship Manager - Priority Banking

About the role

ADIB Group is looking for a Relationship Manager for its Priority Banking business in Dubai. The role attracts, deepens and grows financial relationships with affluent clients, using the full range of banking products and tools, and provides complete solutions through a team-based approach.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through marketing activities, gold centre contacts and the existing network, and acquire new-to-bank customers
• Increase team revenue and productivity by cross-selling and up-selling, and convert inbound and outbound leads into sales
• Evaluate clients' risk profiles and their ability and appetite to handle risk
• Make referrals to other channels and implement Priority Banking services smoothly across surrounding branches
• Monitor service levels, resolve complaints and inquiries personally, and gather ad-hoc customer feedback
• Review credit applications, follow established processes, ensure adequate documentation and identify error trends to suggest process improvements

Required profile

• University degree or a recognised professional certificate
• No less than three years of experience in financial analysis, financial markets, investment, wealth management or financial planning
• At least five years of related banking experience in the UAE
• Experience in sales, product development or wealth advisory to priority banking customers and retail HNIs
• Must have led a team of professionals

Required skills

• Detailed knowledge of ADIB's retail banking products, retail credit and operational policies, and UAE banking practices, regulations and risks
• UAE Financial Rules and Regulations certification, and International Certificates in Wealth and Investment Management (Levels 3 and 4)
• Risk in Financial Services certification
• Knowledge of local competitors, service standards, training and presentation skills, and computer skills
