Remote Biologist – AI Research & Evaluation

About the role

We are seeking a remote Biologist to join an AI research team. In this full‑time position you will design and solve challenging biology problems that test the limits of large language models, while collaborating closely with LLM researchers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve complex biology problems to evaluate large language models.
• Develop step‑by‑step solutions with clear, rigorous reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals.
• Help define new evaluation benchmarks covering topics from early undergraduate to PhD level.
• Translate complex biological concepts into simple, understandable explanations.

Required profile

• PhD or Master’s degree in Biology or a related field.
• Strong analytical and research abilities in biology.
• Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
