Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Patient Admin Executive will be the first point of contact for patients entering the hospital, handling registration, billing, and insurance queries. The role ensures smooth front‑desk operations and supports the clinical team with accurate administrative assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to appropriate departments and provide routine hospital information.
• Manage appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, confirming and handling no‑shows.
• Register new patients, maintain up‑to‑date records and ensure data accuracy.
• Explain insurance coverage, collect co‑payments and process claim forms.
• Handle cash, credit‑card and cheque collections and ensure timely deposit.
• Answer telephone and email inquiries, forwarding messages to relevant staff.
• Generate and process patient invoices, issue bills and assist patients with payment options.
• Maintain confidentiality, follow hospital policies and support quality‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• College diploma or graduate in any discipline.
• At least 1 year experience as a trainee receptionist or similar role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, pleasant personality and good command of oral and written English.
• Arabic language skills are desirable but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Hospital Information System for patient registration and appointment booking.
• Experience in billing, insurance verification and claim processing.
• Cash handling and basic financial transaction processing.
• Basic translation assistance when required.
