Remote IT Technician

About the role

The Remote IT Technician provides technical support and maintenance for computer systems, software applications, and network technologies from a remote environment. The role focuses on diagnosing issues, resolving user requests, and ensuring reliable IT operations while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote support for hardware, software, operating systems and business applications using remote access tools.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, manage support tickets and prioritize incidents.
• Install, configure and maintain software, system updates and user applications.
• Assist users with account access, system configuration and general technology inquiries.
• Monitor system performance, document resolutions and escalate complex incidents when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience in IT support, service desk or help‑desk roles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple issues and maintain accurate documentation.
