Remote Sales Director – Enterprise Sponsorships

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Sales Director to drive new business by selling sponsorship opportunities for a B2B events and insights business. The role is fully remote and combines personal selling with building a scalable sales function.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and close new enterprise sponsorship opportunities with senior decision‑makers.
• Build and lead a sales team from scratch, establishing processes for qualification, pipeline management and forecasting.
• Lead proposals, negotiations and the full sales cycle, ensuring rigorous deal qualification.
• Support the creation of a repeatable sales methodology to drive revenue growth.

Required profile

• Proven B2B SaaS sales experience selling to medium and large enterprises, with a track record of closing large‑scale contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to discuss detailed performance metrics such as quota attainment, deal size, conversion rates and sales cycles.
• Experience in high‑growth scale‑up environments and international market expansion, especially in the UK and US.

Required skills

• Mastery of MEDDIC sales methodology.
• Familiarity with SPIN, Challenger selling or Great Demo! frameworks.
