Research Assistant (Structural Engineering)

About the role

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a full-time research assistant in structural engineering, with a focus on machine learning applications, finite element modeling and dynamic response simulation of structures. The position is open to candidates with a master's degree in structural engineering; those who can meet the requirements for the university's PhD programmes, or who hold a PhD in structural engineering with strong research experience, will also be considered.

Required profile

• BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• A record of publications in international journals.
• Preference goes to candidates with strong experience and publications in machine learning applications, finite element modeling and dynamic response simulations of structures.
