About the role
Join TWAAM Labs as a Research Intern to work on real AI, population modelling and public policy questions. You will be mentored, have regular check‑ins and the flexibility to work remotely while fitting the role around your studies.
Key responsibilities
- Research topics in AI, population modelling and public policy.
- Write articles for the TWAAM Labs website and memos for the team.
- Help design, calibrate and test simulation scenarios.
- Write and organise research notes.
- Lead a small research project and present findings at the end of the internship.
Required profile
- Student or recent graduate in data science, computer science, economics, public policy, statistics, sociology, demography or a related field.
- Strong reading, writing and analytical skills.
- Self‑motivation and discipline to work independently in a remote setting.
- Clear written communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
Required skills
- Python (or similar data‑analysis tool).
- R (or similar data‑analysis tool).
