Reservations Agent – Luxury Desert Resort

About the role

The Reservations Agent will be the first point of contact for guests calling Bab Al Shams Desert Resort, delivering a warm and professional first impression while converting inquiries into confirmed bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Support the sales and marketing team to maximize revenue and achieve resort KPIs.
• Handle all incoming reservation calls, following the LQA script and using the OPERA property management system.
• Process reservation requests accurately, manage upsells, and provide detailed information about rooms, rates, and resort facilities.
• Coordinate with concierge, restaurant, and other departments for airport transfers and special guest requests.
• Maintain guest profiles, VIP bookings, and ensure data quality in the property management system.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years experience in reservations at a four‑ or five‑star hotel.
• Knowledge of the UAE/GCC market and reservation distribution tools.

Required skills

• Opera (or Fidelio) property management system.
• Microsoft Office applications.
• SAGA platform for guest preferences.
