About the role
The Reservations Supervisor ensures accurate management of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes for a luxury hotel. You will guide new employees on company values, implement updated reservation procedures, and handle all reservation inquiries.
Key responsibilities
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
- Verify room availability, rates, and guarantee policies; explain special rates and cancellation terms.
- Accommodate special guest requests, set up billing accounts, and document guest issues.
- Maintain reservation system data integrity and troubleshoot booking challenges.
- Assist management with training, scheduling, counseling, and coaching of staff.
- Uphold company policies, professional appearance, confidentiality, and quality standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of reservations or related hospitality experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and customer‑service orientation.
