Resident Engineer (Roads & Infrastructure)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Resident Engineer to lead construction supervision of roads and infrastructure projects in Dubai. You will ensure project delivery aligns with schedule, budget, and quality standards while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedules, change management and closeout for assigned project elements.
• Coordinate with authorities and agencies for approvals and hand‑over of project/services.
• Interface with contractors and sub‑contractors to ensure compliance with contract deliverables.
• Review work to ensure codes, standards and procedures are followed and approve change orders.
• Maintain client expectations, provide regular progress updates and liaise with authorities for smooth execution.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years post‑graduate experience in supervision and construction management of major roads, bridges and infrastructure projects, preferably in the GCC.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Good technical knowledge of relevant standards and codes.
• Proficient computer skills and software usage in the field.
• Knowledge of construction health, safety and environment practices.
