Restaurant Captain – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

The Captain leads the day‑to‑day operations of a premium Food & Beverage outlet within the Dorchester Collection in Dubai. You will ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience while guiding a team of waiters to deliver service that reflects the brand’s heritage of luxury and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests, present menus, and recommend items to maximise satisfaction and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain immaculate outlet conditions and enforce all service standards.
• Train, mentor and develop the waiting team, ensuring product knowledge and service excellence.
• Oversee inventory control and coordinate with back‑of‑house to guarantee smooth service flow.
• Collaborate with management to uphold the brand’s values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in a food‑and‑beverage environment, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong passion for guest service and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
